Online Sales have come a long way in the past few years. Specifically with millennials (1982-2004.) It’s an exciting concept to order a bed online packaged in a box, have it delivered to your door step, and watch it unfold before your very eyes. The kid in me always loves to see a fresh new bed unfold, almost like a big square marshmallow expanding. But there is one problem, if you order offline you don’t get to try it first. Now someone would argue that you get to try it for 30 or 100 days and send it back if you are unhappy. The problem with that is it’s an inconvenience for you as the customer. What happens if you can’t decide on the mattress by your second or third order? The other problem lies on the manufacturer side of things. They can’t keep affording to take back sales, paying for pick-up, and sending out new beds. The business model will become very strained. So what do you do?
I have the solution. Instead of purchasing a Bed-in-a-box from online retailers and run the risk of doing multiple returns, why don’t you come into our stores and purchase a Bed-in-a-Box from us. Starting in April we will receive new bed-in-a-box products from sealy ranging in price points, ranging in comfort levels, and the best part is; you can lay down on them. No more guessing games from online retailers.
Now ,to all my millennials, I know dealing with a salesperson is somewhat uncomfortable. You don’t want to get a sales pitch every time you walk into a brick-and-mortar store. I, being a millennial myself, totally get this. That’s why you need to come and see me. I am very knowledgeable about our products, and I don’t care how much you spend as long as you are comfortable and happy! That is what sets me apart from other salesmen. When they are trying to get you to spend your max, I am trying to assess your sleep habits and fit you to the correct bed. If that particular bed is out of price range, then we can look as similar beds to the ones you have chosen but in a different price range. The possibilities are endless (sort of.)
